No one can resist this loveable rogue and the mischievous sparkle that is ever present in his eyes!

Peanut, who is a 2 year old male terrier mix came into our care after he was sadly found straying by the dog warden, so unfortunately we don’t have any information on his history or background. However we very quickly learnt that he is a very lovable little dude. He laps up all the attention he can possibly get….but he’s too cool to have fusses in front of his friends as he doesn’t want to ruin his cool kid reputation! If Peanut was a cartoon character, we definitely think he would be the Bart Simpson of the dog world, or perhaps even Dennis the menace.

Peanut is very food driven and will do anything for his favourite pate (well almost anything). This has been very handy when it comes to the training we have started with him here, which the team would be more than happy to show his new owners to help him settle into his new home.

A little quirk about Peanut is that he likes to greet the staff with a endearing little smile from time to time. This is a charming little trait of his and he tends to do it most when he’s at his happiest ready to give out lots of kisses.

We think that Peanut will be the best version of himself in a home where he would be the only pet so that his humans can focus on his training and he can thrive. He has enjoyed socialising with dogs whilst he has been in our care and loves a good game of chase me-chase me but he can easily be overwhelmed around other dogs so a quieter home environment would be beneficial.

The team also think that he would be most comfortable joining a family made up of adults and teenagers who are used to being around dogs like himself.
