Aksel

Name: Aksel
Breed: Lurcher
Age: 0
Location: Dorset
Gender: Male
MGAR Reference: 55252
Our boy Aksel is such a chatterbox, and he can’t wait to entertain you with all his cheeky antics.
Aksel is a stunning 10-month-old, male, rough coated lurcher who has a lot of love to give to his new family. Since coming to Lincoln Farm Aksel has grown in confidence on his daily walks and has started to enjoy exploring all that the outside world has to offer. This plucky lad is gaining in confidence every day, but as he can still become uneasy in new situations, we are looking for a kind and patient family who will be happy to take things at his pace.
Being true to his age, one of this pup’s favourite pass-times are all things TOYS! This gives him a chance to stretch his legs and zip and zoom around. As Aksel has shown some frustration-based lead reactivity, this will be a fun outlet for his energy on rest days, so a home with a well enclosed garden is a must. There are also private paddocks available for hire which will give this pup a real chance to show you what he can do.
Another way to this lad’s heart is food, which has really helped with his training sessions and will carry on being an amazing tool in his learning journey. Aksel is always eager to learn new skills and we know his new home will get great pleasure teaching him lots of new tricks.
Aksel is very affectionate and is often seen having a snuggle on his carer’s laps, he is such a people pleaser and thrives in human company. We are looking for a home where there will be someone around throughout the day initially, that would be able to slowly introduce him to spending time on his own.
Aksel has previously lived with other dogs, and we feel the presence of a well-rounded medium/large female dog will help him settle into his new family’s routine. The team also feel that Aksel would be happy in a home with adults and teenagers, but would be best suited to a home without cats or small furries.
