Meet the ever so unique and very stunning Sage!
Sage is an almost 6-month-old male crossbreed with a heart as big as his beautiful puppy-dog eyes. This lovely lad is very much still growing (he currently weighs around 9kg), but he’s already showing signs of being a clever, loving companion with so much potential. He came into our care from a home where he was truly loved following a change in his owner's circumstances, and that strong foundation has shaped him into a gentle, eager-to-please young dog who is ready to take on the world—with the right people by his side.
Sage is a curious and intelligent pup who absolutely loves to learn. He’s already picked up the basics and takes real joy in learning new tricks, especially when there are treats involved. His enthusiasm and quick thinking make him a joy to train, and he’s looking for a home that will continue to guide him with kindness and patience (and chicken!) as he grows into a confident adult dog.
He enjoys the company of other dogs and would be happy living with a friendly canine companion who can show him the ropes and would enjoy some playtime, however he would be best suited to a home without cats. He can live with children aged five and above, and would love to be part of a family where he can join in the fun, share cuddles, and get involved with their adventures.
Like many young dogs, Sage isn’t yet comfortable being left alone and will need his new family to help him slowly build confidence with this. He’s also not used to travelling in the car, so this too will need to be introduced gradually, with patience and positive reinforcement. Given how much he enjoys learning, we’re confident that with the right support, he’ll adapt beautifully and our team are on hand to help with the transition.
Sage is looking for an active and attentive home—one that will not only continue his training and socialisation but will also appreciate his affectionate nature and playful spirit. In return, he’ll offer loyalty, love, and a lot of licks.
