An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a dynamic, multi-skilled Estates team, working for an organisation dedicated to animal rescue.

As Estates Team Member, you would be part of a team that is ever adapting to the challenges of various types of work. When people say “no day is the same” here; they really mean it!

The estate consists of 3 sites, 2 in Dorset and our sister site in Devon, as well as our ever-expanding retail outlets.

The work is varied from fencing some of the 35 or so acres of land, to refitting a shop ready for opening. This position requires someone with a good level of skills in general maintenance, or possibly someone with a time served trade, educated to GCSE level, with a proven track record in a professional capacity.

You would be assisting the Estates Manager as part of the Estates team to help carry out repairs and general maintenance tasks, including reacting to any emergencies.

The role involves working 37.5 hours per week on a locally determined rota, which would include on-call cover 1 weekend per month and some Bank Holidays.

Due to the nature of the work, it may at times be necessary to exceed these hours when workload demands.

Salary: £22,308 per annum
