Terms and Conditions
By accessing or using the Margaret Green Animal Rescue site you are acknowledging that you have read, understand and agree without limitation to be bound by these terms and conditions.
If we are out of stock of an item we will endeavour to replenish stocks but this is not always possible. If you have placed an item that is no longer available our customer services team will get in touch with you to offer an alternative item or a refund.
We will send you an email to confirm your order has been placed. Orders are usually processed within 48 hrs of being received and posted out shortly afterwards. Whilst you should normally receive your order within a within a week, please do allow up to 14 days.
We accept payment through all major credit, debit cards and PayPal.
Legally binding contract
Please remember that when we accept your submitted order for merchandise on this website, there will be a legally binding contract.
Cancelling your order
You have a legal right to cancel your order prior to its despatch. Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will email you back to confirm we have received your cancellation. You can also contact our customer services team by telephone or post. If you are emailing or writing to us, please include details of your order number. If you send us your cancellation by post, your cancellation is effective from the date you send us the email or post the letter to us.
Problems with your order
If you haven’t received your order within 14 days of it being despatched please contact our customer services team. Similarly, if you receive an incorrect or damaged item, please contact our customer services team within 7 days. We will offer you a replacement item or a full refund. In the unlikely situation that you receive an item that is damaged or faulty we will give you a full refund including the cost of returning the item to us. If you simply change your mind we will refund the cost of the item but the cost of returning it to us will be your responsibility.
To return an item:
- Contact our customer services team within seven days of receiving the item and let them know you wish to return it. You can choose to receive either a replacement item or a refund.
- Carefully repackage the item, including a copy of the invoice and order details in the return parcel to help us identify your order.
- Send your returns through a service that ensures the value of the goods. We recommend recorded delivery.
- Keep proof of postage. The cost of returning the item to us is your responsibility unless the item is faulty or damaged.

Margaret Green Animal Rescue offers a standard UK delivery charge of £3.95 on all orders containing donated or new product items sent by Royal Mail, with the exception of high-value or bulky items, which incur a mandatory courier charge.
If a courier charge applies to any item in the online shop, this will be clearly shown on the product page and in your basket.
Alteration of Service or Amendments to the Conditions
We reserve the right to make changes to our website, policies, and these Terms and Conditions of Purchase at any time. You will be subject to the policies and Terms and Conditions of Purchase in force at the time that you use the website or that you order goods from us, unless any change to those policies or these conditions is required to be made by law or government authority (in which case it will apply to orders previously placed by you). If any of these conditions are deemed invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable, that condition will be deemed severable and will not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining condition.
