Meet Socks!

Socks is a 4-year-old, small mixed terrier (4.5 kg) with a huge personality. She’s a lively, affectionate little girl who loves to play, chase her ball, and—most of all—run on the beach! After a busy day of fun, she’s happiest snuggled up under the duvet for cuddles.

Socks is spayed, vaccinated, and toilet trained, her recall is excellent and she knows lots of commands—sit, lie down, wait, spin, high five, and high ten! She also walks very well on the lead and regularly checks in with her people when she is out and about, even when she is off lead. She enjoys a quick greeting with some dogs but is generally much more interested in interacting with people and taking in her surroundings.

We think that Socks would thrive in a home where she’d be the only pet with a family made up of adults and older children heading towards their teenage years who would be able to give her a consistent and fun routine that she’ll be able to thrive on. Socks is a clever little dog who loves learning new tricks, using her nose and stretching her legs and we think she’d love to give agility, hoopers or scent work classes a go.

Socks has very much been a loved and cherished member of her family and is looking for a new home because she struggles in a multi dog household. Her owners described her as “truly being the best little dog – funny, smart, loyal and full of love” and we agree as she is absolute joy to spend time around.
