Peggy has a larger than life but equally very sensitive personality and there’s never a dull moment when she is around. She has the ability to turn anything into a game or a cuddle and regularly makes our whole team laugh.

Peggy is a very cuddly girl with the people she knows -she adores affection and loves being stroked all over. She will make a wonderful companion for a family who have the time to give her all the fuss and snuggles she cherishes. She gets super excited when we greet her and she always knows when it’s time for walkies! New owners will need to manage her pogo stick ways on the lead from time to time, which happens when she gets over excited but she settles down once she relaxes into her walk.

Peggy is one of a kind! Although very exuberant, she is also very sensitive requiring trust and gentleness from her new family. Ideally a home where she can continue the training she has started at the centre and be taken on lots of exciting adventures. She would be happy to live with quiet teenagers and adults who would be happy to help a large dog settle into home life.

Whilst Peggy has been in our care we have noticed that she can be a little over the top and is easily over excited around other dogs. We hope this will settle down more and more as she continues her learning about the outside world and everything isn't quite so new any more.
She has really been enjoying her forest walks and meeting and learning about other dogs and animals. We feel that she could live with a male greyhound following some introductions here at Lincoln Farm.

Our team all feel that this gorgeous girl will make such a loving and fun addition to her new family.
