We were thrilled to welcome a team from Nationwide to our Church Knowle centre this month, who did a fantastic job of re-painting the chicken enclosures and making them look lovely and fresh.

 

 

Depsite the bitterly cold weather, the group got stuck in and set to work on painting the outside of the enclosures, which are a key part of the Visitor Trail at Church Knowle and provide a safe and comfortable place for our rescue chickens to rest in and explore, whilst they await their forever homes. 

It was an absolute pleasure to have the team join us for the day, who enjoyed meeting some of our rescue animals, including lovely Boris here, and having a tour of the site. The chicken enclosures certainly look much better and we are sure that the chickens agree too!
