Introducing our bubbly, bouncy boy, Bertie!

This handsome young lad is a 9-month-old male Patterpoo (Patterdale Terrier X Poodle) who has that will melt your heart and a personality that makes him an absolute joy to be around.

Bertie has quickly learned that his funny, puppy-like charm can help him get away with a lot, so he’ll need a patient, adult-only home with paw-rents who are willing to invest time in his training and helping him learn his manners. He may benefit from living with a larger, confident, well-established female dog who would be happy to show a new little brother the ropes, though he would also thrive as an only dog where he can be the centre of someone’s world.

Like many young dogs, Bertie is still learning and can find smaller animals a bit too exciting, so he is looking for a home without cats or other small pets, so that he can relax in his new environment.

True to his breed mix, Bertie is highly intelligent, motivated and curious, especially when it comes to using his nose out on walks. His carers feel he’ll need plenty of mental and physical stimulation both at home and when out and about to keep his busy brain happily occupied.
