Rolo is an 8½-year-old Shih Tzu cross with a big heart and a love for comfort. He adores his toys and cuddles and will often use his toys to self-soothe, which is very sweet to see.

Rolo would be happiest in an adult-only home. He can live with cats and must live with another calm, female dog, as he finds reassurance in canine companionship.

He enjoys going out for walks and can be quite vocal when excited, especially when anticipating fun activities. Rolo thrives on routine and will need access to a secure garden where he can potter about and relax.

While he isn’t fully used to travelling in the car yet, he has enjoyed short trips while staying with us at the centre and is gaining confidence with positive experiences.

Rolo does not like being left alone for long periods, so he is looking for a home where someone is around for much of the day and can offer him the reassurance and stability he needs.
