Introducing the lovely Rafi, who is a 20 month old Labrador x Springer who arrived with us due to his previous owners struggling to give him the training and exercise he so needs.

Rafi is typical of his breeds and is one very active lad, who likes to be kept mentally and physically stimulated, so he would love owners who enjoy the same lifestyle as him. Rafi would benefit from being a cani cross partner or doing some agility to help keep him happy and healthy.

Rafi has struggled with his training, especially his lead walking skills, so his new owners need to be aware that he is strong on lead, but he has been making progress in this area so his new owners will have to be happy to continue this work. Rafi will be looking for his new family to take him to training classes so that he can continue his training as he hasn't had much training prior, and to help him bond with his new family.

Rafi can still get very excited and will try and greet you with all four paws, but he can also be shy in new situations so an owner who can give him the confidence would be perfect for him.

Rafi will be looking to be the only pet in the home so that he can have your undivided attention, but he will also need regular dog walking friends to continue his socialisation. Due to Rafi's excitable nature, we feel a home with older teenagers and adults would be the best match for him.

Rafi will be looking to have owners around in his new home so that they can help build up time being left for short periods gradually, as he does suffer from separation anxiety.
