We would like to introduce you to Rustle – a gentle soul ready to find his forever home. Rustle is a beautiful 5-year-old ex-racing greyhound who is beginning to discover that there’s a big, exciting world beyond the race track. Rustle is already stealing hearts as his personality slowly but surely begins to shine through.
Though a little reserved when you first meet him, Rustle is a very affectionate boy who’s starting to gain confidence in his new surroundings. With patience and kindness, you’ll see him blossom – and it’s a joy to watch. He’s curious about toys and finds the squeaky noises intriguing, though he’s still figuring out exactly what to do with them. Like many greyhounds, Rustle hasn’t lived in a home before, so he’ll need some gentle support adjusting to indoor life. He may be unsure at first, but we’re confident he’ll come to love the cozy comforts of a warm bed, a quiet corner, and maybe even a sofa to call his own.
Rustle could live happily as an only dog or alongside a calm female sighthound. He’s not suitable to live with cats or small furry animals, due to his natural prey drive. He would also do well in a home with children aged 10 and over who understand how to give him the time and space he needs to adjust and settle in.
Like all ex-racers, he’s just starting to see life as a pet – but with a bit of patience, he’s sure to flourish into a loyal and loving companion. If you have space in your heart and home for a gentle, shy boy who’s learning to trust and is ready for the next chapter of his life, Rustle could be the perfect match for you.
