Ivy is a pretty Terrier x who is 4 years old. Ivy hasn't had the best of start in life, which has left her a bit worried of new situations and people until she gets to know you, so will be looking for an adult only home who have had experience of Terriers and know their quirky ways. Ivy will need a few visits so that she can build a bond with her new family as she can get overwhelmed when meeting people initially.

Ivy has been working on her training and socialisation since arriving with us and has made a few doggy pals but still needs continued socialisation. We feel Ivy would benefit from a steady male dog in the home to help with her confidence.

Ivy can struggle with formal handling, but we have seen some improvement, so her new owner will need to continue this. Once Ivy has bonded with you, we have found her to be quite a loyal girl and enjoys her cuddles too. Ivy is still an active girl so will like owners who like a similar lifestyle. She will also be looking for a home in a village location so that she can enjoy her daily walks without getting too worried about them. Ivy would love to have owners around for the majority of the day.
