Country Dog Show 2025
8th Sep 2025We were delighted to welcome lots of new and familiar faces to our annual Country Dog Show back in August.
We were so excited to meet all your wonderful canine companions, many of whom took part in our dog show classes. With almost 60 dogs entering each class, you certainly kept us busy and gave our judges a tough job!
This year’s event was our biggest yet, with over 40 local traders, artisans and food vendors, as well as various activities including Have-a-go-Agility, Archery & Axe Throwing, ‘Hook-a-Duck’ & Coconut Shy and ‘Rehome a Teddy’.
We were pleased to be joined by Alex from Active Instincts Dog Training Academy, who put on two displays of Dog Parkour and Treibball. The crowds also enjoyed fantastic performances by Allsort’d and the award-winning Rock Choir.
As we celebrate our 60th year, we are over-the-moon to share that you, our wonderful supporters, helped us to raise an incredible £16,973.49 on the day!
These funds will make a huge difference to improving the lives of our rescue animals, and help ensure that we can help animals in need for another 60 years.
This event would not have been possible without the amazing efforts of our fabulous team of volunteers and staff, and the support of our sponsors, so thank you!
We would like to extend our thanks to everyone who attended and chose to spend their day supporting our charity - it really does mean a lot to us.
