We would like to say a huge 'thank you' to everyone who attended our Sponsored Walkies on Sunday 14th April. We were delighted to welcome over 70 supporters and their gorgeous dogs to our Wingletang centre for this fabulous event!

After a very wet and windy couple of weeks, we were thrilled that the sun came out and the weather stayed dry during the 6-mile route through the stunning Devon countryside, along the edge of Dartmoor.

 

 

Following everyone's hard work, we finished the walk back at the centre, where there was plenty of tea, cakes and, of course, treats ready and waiting to celebrate our supporters' amazing efforts. 

We are beyond excited to share that over £4,700 has been raised so far, with more funds expected to follow in the upcoming months from our fantastic walkers' sponsorships! 

We can't thank everyone enough for coming along and supporting this event, and for helping us to raise such an incredible amount for our rescue animals, who truly deserve a second chance at happiness.

 

      

 

We would also like to extend our thanks to Sarah Jane for taking the gorgeous photos throughout the day, and to Steve Bovey for serving our deserving walkers their delicious refreshments afterwards - we really couldn't have done the event without them.
