Dachshund lovers look no further than Mike!

Handsome Mike is an 9 month old Standard Dachshund. Mike came to us after his owner was no longer able to look after him. Mike may be small but he is an active boy who can get bored easily so his new owners will need to keep him mentally and physically stimulated.

Mike can be shy with new people until he gets to know them, but once he does you will get to see his cheeky puppy side come out. Mike is a smart boy and knows what he wants so his family will need to continue his training and socialisation that he has started at our centre to help him become a well adjusted adult.

We know from Mike’s previous home that he would be happiest in an adult only home, but to also be the only pet so that he can have all the love and attention for himself but Mike would benefit from having regular dog walking friends and continue exploring new places on his daily walks.

We expect a lot of interest in Mike so as soon as he has found his perfect match then he will be marked as reserved so we can get him ready for his new home.
