Introducing our beautiful boy Jess, who is an 18 year old domestic short hair. Jess very sadly, entered Margaret Green Animal Rescue, after the passing of his previous owner, and it is very clear that he is missing human companionship.

Jess is a wise and affectionate character, who very much enjoys the company of others. Jess is a charismatic boy, and although he is a little older than his feline friends, he refuses to let his age stop him from living his best cat life. In fact Jess is a rather active soul with a young heart, who, even though is in his golden years, enjoys an interactive play session with his fishing-rod toy. You will also likely hear Jess before you see him, as he is a chatty fellow, with a lot to say - which our carers find absolutely adorable.

Jess lives with Renal Disease, which is common in elderly cats. However, this just means that this sweet boy requires additional needs to ensure that he remains the active and happy boy he is, with a good quality of life.

We feel that Jess would be at his happiest in a adult or adult/family home with no other pets, where he can have free access to an enclosed garden via a cat flap so that he can go out and explore his surroundings once he is safe and settled.
