Novelty Dog Show 2026

We were delighted to welcome lots of new and familiar faces to our popular Novelty Dog Show at our Wingletang centre in Devon last month, for a fantastic day of celebrating our four-legged friends.

With a variety of fun classes, including Most Handsome Dog, Best Condition Puppy and Best Brace, there was something for everyone to enjoy.

We were thrilled to see so many wonderful entrants, who certainly made it a difficult task for our judges to choose the winners!

Thanks to the incredible generosity of everyone who attended, we raised £3,768.28 on the day. Every penny will help to provide vital care and support for the many rescue dogs and cats who rely on us.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us, entered a class, cheered on the participants and helped make the event such a success.

We'd also like to extend our sincere thanks to our dedicated volunteers for their hard work, our event sponsors for their generous support, the local businesses that donated fantastic raffle prizes, and Dr Catherine Jones from Drake Vets for giving up her time to judge the classes.

Take a look at a selection of photos from the day below, kindly captured by Margaret and Dmytro from Queen Bee Production. You can also browse our full Facebook photo album here.
