Country Fayre & Dog Show 2026
We would like to say a huge 'thank you' to everyone who came along to support our Country Fayre & Dog Show at our Church Knowle centre in Dorset on Sunday 4th October.
After postponing the event in August, due to the hot weather, we were overjoyed by how many of you, our wonderful supporters, and furry friends joined us for a fun-filled day out!
From a full programme of dog show classes and our Have-a-go Agility course, to a fabulous array of stalls from local traders, live circus skills and choir performances and delicious food and drink, there was lots to see, do and discover throughout the day.
We are utterly thrilled to share that you helped us raise over £19,000 on the day, making this our most successful year yet!
Every penny raised will have a positive impact and enable us to help more animals and people across the South West.
We can't thank you all enough for coming along and supporting your local animal rescue charity - every donation, purchase and kind word makes a big difference.
We would like to take a moment to congratulate all our dog show class winners - you certainly made our judges' decisions very hard, as there were so many worthy winners!
It was also a pleasure to welcome so many of our ex-residents and other canine companions to our Rescue Dog Reunion - we loved hearing your heartwarming stories and seeing so many familiar faces!
We'd like to extend our sincere thanks to our volunteers, Trustees, staff, sponsors, traders and local businesses for all their support and hard work in the lead up to and on the day.
If you came along to the event, we would really value your feedback...
We’re always looking for ways to improve our events, so we’d be very grateful if you could complete our short feedback form below.
The event would not be possible without everyone's kindness and dedication, so it truly means so much to us and our animals.
Make sure you check out the fantastic selection of photos from the day below, kindly captured by Andy Pull, Jason Butcher, Indi Palmer and By Sophie Photography. You can also browse our full Facebook photo album here.
Thank you, once again, for attending and helping us to fund brighter futures for our rescue animals. We look forward to seeing you again soon!
