Another Urgent Call for Help
We have recently welcomed 15 dogs into our care, after they were rescued by the RSPCA from an unlicensed breeder.

We believe they had been exploited for breeding purposes all their lives, with very little socialisation and enrichment.
These vulnerable souls arrived nervous, in poor condition and with severely matted coats - some with faeces painfully embedded in the tangles.
It’s hard to imagine the discomfort they must have endured.

Our team immediately set to work, gently clipping away the matting with the help of Ang from Wags Grooming, who kindly gave up her time in the evenings to volunteer and help us.
Thanks to you and our other kind supporters, we are able to be here to help these poor dogs who have had such a traumatic life from irresponsible breeding.
Earlier this month, we also took in 30 dogs from a single household. As a result, our centres across Dorset and Devon are feeling the strain more than ever.
Right now, our focus is on ensuring every one of these dogs receives the veterinary treatment, rehabilitation, and love they need to recover. We can only do this because of your continued support.

With your help, we can remain a safe haven for animals who deserve so much better - and give them the second chance they so desperately need.
