Overview

Our Country Fayre & Dog Show is returning to our Church Knowle centre in Dorset on Sunday 4th October 2026, and we’re looking for fabulous volunteers to join us!

The event welcomes hundreds of supporters, families, animal lovers and, of course, plenty of four-legged friends to our centre, and has been a much-loved part of the charity’s history for many years.

Alongside the dog show, where classes like Waggiest Tail, Best Condition and Best Rescue will be taking place, there will be a wide range of stalls offering food, drinks, sweet treats, accessories, pet gifts and much more.

We will be hosting a variety of fundraising activities, including a raffle, tombola and teddy tombola, in addition to the popular Haybale Hurdles and Have-a-go Agility, along with other fun activities and entertainment.

We rely heavily on the generosity of our supporters and volunteers to help make this event a success. From assisting our stalls to greeting attendees at the entrance gates and helping with car parking, there are lots of different roles available.

We already have a fantastic team signed up, including many returning volunteers, but we still need more wonderful people, like you, to help cover all the areas needed to keep the day running smoothly.
