We have an exciting opportunity at our Church Knowle site for a capable and compassionate person to join our equine team as a senior animal welfare worker. We are a small and friendly, close knit team who care deeply about the charity and its aims. You will need to have experience of and be confident in handling a wide range of equines both ridden and on the ground. You will be happy to assist on other sections with other species when necessary.

Could you be a vital part of Margaret Green Animal Rescue? We are looking for a volunteer driver for one day a week to collect donations and distribute promotional leaflets. It also includes some general maintenance of our donation bins around Dorset.

Requirements of role;

• To hold a clean driving licence
• To be able to work alone or alongside others
• To have good driver awareness
• To give two references from previous employees or persons within the community
• To provide good customer service and care
• Courteous and trustworthy
• To be highway code aware
• Confident driver
• Be able to lift and carry loads
•  To communicate well with line manager

The hours would suit 9.00 am until 4.00pm. 

You will be volunteering to work under the company structure of Marketing and Fundraising. You will be carrying out duties to support them and activities they run. You are dealing with the general public and companies that support MGAR.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Champion Volunteer to work alongside our Fundraising Volunteers. Within this role you have the opportunity to support the lives of rescue animals by organising and overseeing fundraising events, representing the charity at functions and arranging regular meetings with fundraisers.

Requirements of role;

• To hold a clean driving licence
• Enthusiastic approach to tasks
• Good problem solving
• To give two references from previous employees or persons with in community
• To communicate well with line manager
• To be able to support volunteer ideas and help bring them to life
• Able to organise multiple activities

The hours would suit 10.00 am until 4.00pm with flexible days.

You will be volunteering to work under the company structure of Marketing and Fundraising. You will be carrying out duties to support them and activities they run. You are dealing with the general public and companies that support MGAR.
