Running For Rescue
1st May 2024There is less than a month to go until our wonderful Senior Animal Rescue Carer, Holly, will be taking on the mighty Edinburgh Marathon with her animal-loving cousin, Emily!
From working at our Lincoln Farm centre in Dorset, Holly has seen first-hand the incredible work we do with our rescue animals across the charity, and how the generosity of our amazing supporters, like you, makes such a difference to their lives.
On Sunday 26th May, Holly & Emily will be completing this incredible running challenge to raise funds for the many rescue animals who need us.
Whilst they are undertaking their intense training, we sat down with Holly and took the opportunity to find out more about this brave adventure.
Please check out the video below to meet Holly, and to hear all about her role at Lincoln Farm and why her and Emily have signed up to take on this major event.
We are so grateful to Holly & Emily for all their support and for dedicating their running challenge to raise funds and awareness for vulnerable animals who have no voice to ask for help.
If you would like to make a donation towards their spectacular efforts, please click on the button below to visit their JustGiving page.
As well as setting themselves this challenge, Holly will be hosting a Charity Quiz Night on Wednesday 22nd May at Wimborne Rugby Club in Dorset, to raise even more funds for our animals.
If you would like to come along and support a local cause, make sure you save the date and spread the word to your friends and loved ones.
Not only is it set to be a fantastic and fun-filled evening, but your attendance will also make a direct impact to the rescue animals in our care.
We wish Holly & Emily the very best of luck with the Edinburgh Marathon, and we can't wait to hear about how they get on!
