Rabbit Awareness Week at Church Knowle
Friday 17th June 2016
What is Rabbit Awareness Week?
Every year Burgess Pet Care, together with its partners MSD Animal Health (the producers of Panacur Rabbit), RSPCA, PDSA, The Blue Cross, Rabbit Welfare Association and Fund (RWAF) and Wood Green The Animals Charity join forces to focus on a different aspect of rabbit care and welfare.
During the RAW week vets, rescue centres and retailers across the UK offer free health clinics or organise fun and educational events to spread the word and we are proud to be doing our bit here at Margaret Green Animal Rescue, Chuch Knowle.
Together we aim to improve the lives of the UK's rabbits and stop them getting a RAW deal!
Join us for a talk and demonstration in the bunny area at our Church Knowle Rehoming and Visitor Centre every day this week at 2pm. Find out why bunnies are happier in pairs, why carrots should only be enjoyed in moderation and why a hutch is not enough!
Take part in our Bunny Quiz at our Church Knowle Rehoming and Visitor Centre! Ask for an answer sheet at reception and answer the questions hidden around the bunny area to win a prize!
Share photos of your own rabbits, or ours on social media and help us spread the word about rabbit care so that we can stop bunnies getting a RAW deal!
