Finding Forever Homes

It's the final countdown

All the fun of the Fayre!

If you have been following the updates on Facebook about the Country Fayre you will be as excited as we are about Sunday (24th September), which is going to be the most amazing day ever!

We are backwards and forwards from the event site even as this is being written, checking and sorting, making sure everything is just right for Sunday

We think you are going to love our Scarecrows, a new addition this year

Here are just a few of them ....

Barney ScarecrowMaisy ScarecrowScarecrow Wendy

First we have Barney, it would be fair to say that Barney has had his fair shair of Mickey Taking, but he has weathered everything the Purbecks threw at him, and he is still  scaring crows over in his corner.  In the middle, meet Maisy who is welcoming visitors to Church Knowle and was designed and built by Jan and Dave Green who are regular volunteers at MGA

Then on the far side we have Wendy Green, all the way from our Winton Charity shop, the team down there have done a brilliant job getting Wendy together, and she will be coming over to Church Knowle on Sunday.

There are more, and we will be bringing you pictures of them as soon as we can, and of course we are hoping that you will be bringing yours along on the  day too.  We can confirm it is huge fun making them, and you will find yourself laughing hilariously.

On the day the Scarecrows will be displayed with a collection jar, and the one who has raised the most money will be the winner  - could it be yours?  There is a Scarecrow parade at 15:30 in the Main ring, don't miss that.
