There are many ways that you can support the work we do at Margaret Green Animal Rescue and one of these is by joining our Corporate Volunteer Scheme in conjunction with your workplace. Many businesses have schemes that employees can join, which gives them the opportunity to get out of the office and do charity work, really making a difference in the community.
Recently, a team from New Look, Weymouth came along to our Church Knowle Rehoming and Visitor centre to help with the clearing of brambles from a field in preparation for fencing, which in turn will give more grazing to our equines. Simon and his team commented ‘We’re really glad to have been able to help such a worthy cause. It was tough but satisfying work and everyone was so welcoming it was a pleasure to be with them for the day. Thanks for having us!’
A group from BNY Mellon, Poole also came in to help with installing new fencing. This group have been before and are always really keen to get involved. Their group leader, Ruth manages to rally support from various teams at BNY Mellon and they always have a great day volunteering.
Thank you to teams New Look and BNY Mellon your hard work and support is appreciated, we hope to see you again soon!
