Sweet, easy going and always up for meeting new people and heading off for an adventure is how we’d describe the ever-happy beagle girlie Penny. This lovely lass is 6 years young, and she is an active and fun-loving dog who enjoys being active. She is also a very big foodie!
In typical beagle style Penny loves to snuffle her way through long grass with her nose and tail working hard to make sure no blade of grass is left un-sniffed. We think she’d love putting these skills to good use playing some scent work games or giving some nose work classes a go with her new family.
Penny is in her absolute element when there is someone about to give her cuddles and lots of fuss and she’ll always reciprocate this with lots of love and affection herself. She has always been a much-loved pet and is looking for a new home following her owner very sadly passing away. She has very good manners around the house (although she has been known to be a bit of an opportunist around food that is left unattended) and she has a good level of loose lead walking skills.
We are looking to match Penny up with a family made up of adults and teenagers (aged 13 and upwards) who enjoy getting out and about as she is used to covering lots of miles on her daily walkies. We also think that Penny would enjoy living with a like-minded dog, but this wouldn’t be essential as she is used to being the only dog in the home.
