Introducing our beautiful three-legged friend Floss who is a 10 year old domestic short hair. Floss very sadly came into our care due to a change in his previous owners circumstances which meant that they could no longer provide for his care.
Despite being a slightly shyer character at first, it wasn’t long before Floss accepted our helping hand and began to show us his true colours.
Floss is a friendly but sensitive soul, who enjoys human companionship with his familiar humans, though certainly willing to build a bond with new humans once he is comfortable. The quirk we find so sweet about Floss is his adoration for a cardboard box, which he will happily chill out in for the majority of the day.
Floss also loves interactive play with his feather wand toy, where he can engage in those natural cat behaviours that he finds so enriching. His eyes light up when he sees you walking past during the day and will eagerly await his breakfast in the morning.
Being a three-legged feline, Floss may need additional care in his new home to support him in living his best cat life. These may be things like making changes to the physical aspects of his environment to make him feel more comfortable and allow him to easily access favoured places - but don’t worry, Floss has already adjusted very well to his new lifestyle and has learnt the skills to navigate his new surroundings, albeit a little slower than his feline friends!
We believe that Floss would be at his happiest in a quiet, adult only home, with no other pets, where he can have free access to an enclosed garden, so he can explore his new surroundings once he feels safe and settled.
If you would like to offer our sweet Floss a loving home, please give us a call at our Church Knowle Rehoming Centre in Wareham, where our lovely rescue carers will be happy to discuss Floss's needs with you in more detail.
