Finn

Name: Finn
Breed: Beagle
Age: 3
Location: Dorset
Gender: Male
MGAR Reference: 54400
Finn is always the life and soul of the party, and he loves to let you know when he has arrived!
This 3-year-old youngster is a typical Beagle always getting his nose stuck into everything, he is looking for a home that knows his breed well and can put these classic traits to good use.
This hound's carers have recently introduced him to the art of scent work, which he has really taken to and enjoyed. He has also dabbled in some low level agility, helping him trim up his tummy and keeping his brain working. It would be amazing to find a family that would enjoy setting up and partaking in these fun games, this would be a great bonding activity for all involved.
Finn has really enjoyed his outings to the local forests and heathlands where there are many smells to trail, giving his nose a real workout.
Since coming into our care it has become apparent that Finn can become anxious when faced with social situations involving other dogs, for this reason this chap wears a muzzle and is kept onlead during his outings. We have spent our time slowly introducing this to him, making it into a rewarding game, so he happily wears this like a piece of uniform.
Finn has no trouble showing people what he really wants and will happily perch himself by your feet for a back scratch. If he is really feeling cheeky, he will also wait until you are seated to stand his front paws on your shoulders for a much-needed neck and chest massage.
Due to building strong bonds with his carers, Finn would love to find a home where he won't need to be left home alone initially.
This class clown would be able to live in a home with teenagers but would need to be the only pet.
