Our Wingletang team was delighted to welcome you, our fabulous supporters, and your canine companions to the centre for our Walkies for Rescue on Sunday 1st September. 

 

 

We were very thankful for the dry weather & good cloud cover for our pooch pals, which provided the perfect conditions for us to set off on the stunning route through the rural Devon countryside, in aid of animals in need. 

The walk started from the centre and trekked along the edge of Dartmoor, before finishing at the wonderful Peter Tavy Inn, where everyone was able to stop & enjoy a refreshing drink or tasty meal to celebrate their efforts!

We'd like to thank the team at the pub for accommodating us after the walk, and for donating 20% of their takings from our supporters on the day, to our charity. 

 

      

 

We're thrilled to share that you have helped us to raise over £3,300 from the event so far, with more funds expected to follow in the upcoming months! 

We can't thank everyone enough for coming along and enabling us to raise vital funds for the many rescue animals who need us each year - your support is truly what keeps us going.

A huge 'thank you' also goes to Rentafford for very kindly letting us use one of their minibuses for the day, free of charge, to enable us to transport our supporters back to the centre after the walk.
